O Domine Jesu Christe,
adoro te in cruce vulneratum
felle et aceto potatum:
deprecor te ut tua vulnera
morsque tua sit vita mea.

I adore you, wounded upon the cruel Cross
And given gall to drink:
I beseech you, that your wounds
