Emmanuel continues its collaboration with local organization Project STEP, which provides talented young musicians that identify with historically underrepresented groups in classical music with comprehensive music instruction. Project STEP envisions a world in which the classical music profession reflects the racial and ethnic diversity of our communities.

Three Project STEP students will work side-by-side Emmanuel musicians, receiving training in the performance of Bach's music. As we continue our commitment to playing Bach on modern instruments, we hope to help empower young musicians in our community and give them tools to interpret and perform Bach with confidence and care.
