Tzu-Yi Yeh, a cellist and music teacher from Taiwan, iscurrently pursuing her Master of Music degree in Cello Performance at theBoston Conservatory at Berklee. In July 2023, she earned her bachelor’s degreeand graduated with honors from the Educational Program for Secondary SchoolMusic Teachers at National Kaohsiung Normal University.
Between 2019 to 2023, she participated in master classeswith South Korean cellist Sung-Won Yang, Russian cellist Kirill Rodin, ChamberMusic Society of Lincoln Center cellist Dmitri Atapine, and a string quartetmaster class with the Telegraph Quartet violist Pei-Ling Lin. In 2017 and 2022,she was awarded the Grand Prize in Excellent from the National StudentCompetition of Music in Taiwan.
Tzu-Yi is known for her strong musicality andrich imagination, with which she performs a wide range of music genres. She was a cellist in the TaiwanPhilharmonic Chinese Orchestra from 2019 to 2021, and in 2018, she performedwith the Tainan National University of the Arts Chinese String Orchestra inTaiwan cities and China, Xiamen. Tzu-Yi has participated in Classical SymphonyOrchestra and Chinese Symphony Orchestra throughout her musical career.Currently, Tzu-Yi is studying with Professor Andrew Mark at the BostonConservatory at Berklee.
