Violinist Sean Larkin is an active orchestral and chamber musician throughout New England. He performs regularly with Emmanuel Music, Odyssey Opera, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Marsh Chapel Collegium. Additionally, he appears with the Vermont Symphony, Cape Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, New Hampshire Music Festival, and Monadnock Music. His other performing experience includes musical theater productions at the Ogunquit Playhouse and Boston Opera House and concerts with Andrea Bocelli and Broadway singer Heather Headley.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Maryland, where he was a student of David Salness and received additional training from members of the Guarneri Quartet. He also holds a Master of Music degree from Boston University, where he studied with Bayla Keyes. Sean continued his studies with Prof. Keyes after his degree, serving as her studio teaching assistant for two years.
