Bradyn Debysingh is a rising tenor from Cottage Grove, Oregon. A frequent baroque interpreter, Bradyn has sung in the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition at Carnegie Hall, the Kentucky Bach Choir’s Audrey Rooney Vocal Competition, the Colorado Bach Ensemble’s Competition for Young Artists, Le Concours Corneille in France, and in Germany with the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. Most recently, Bradyn made his Lyric Opera of Chicago debut in the ghost chorus of The Flying Dutchman and was invited to be a vocal fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. Future engagements include his chorus stage debut at Lyric Opera of Chicago in Aida. Bradyn has performed in masterclasses with Matthew Polenzani, Erin Morley, Paul Agnew, and Elizabeth Futral among others. A student of W. Stephen Smith, Bradyn holds a M.M. in Voice & Opera from Northwestern University, and a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and B.A. in Classics from Samford University. He is also an avid tap dancer. SDG.
