Unser keiner lebet ihm selber
und keiner stirbet ihm selber.
Leben wir, so leben wir dem Herren.
Sterben wir, so sterben wir dem Herren,
darum wir leben oder sterben,
so sind wir des Herren.

For none of us liveth to himself,
and no one dieth to himself.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord,
and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:
whether we live therefore, or die,
we are the Lord's.
