I. Hosanna

Hosanna!

Hosanna!

II. And God Wept

Et dominus flevit
Videns Jesu civitatem flevit super illam

And God wept
And Jesus beheld the city, and wept over it

III. I Waited for the Lord

Expectans expectavi Dominum, et intendit mihi.
Et immisit in os meum canticum novum, carmen Deo nostro.
Adiutor meus, et protector meus tu es: Deus meus, expectans expectavi…
Hosanna in excelsis Deo!

I waited patiently for the Lord, and He was attentive to me.
And He sent a new canticle into my mouth, a song to our God.
You are my helper and my protector:
My God, I waited patiently...
Hosanna in excelsis Deo!

IV. Arise, Be Enlightened!

Surge, illuminare, Jerusalem, quia venit lumen tuum,
Et gloria Domini super te orta est.
Super te autem orietur Dominus et gloria eius in te videbitur.

Arise, be enlightened, O Jerusalem; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
The Lord shall arise upon thee indeed, and his glory shall be seen in thee.

V. Wait for the Lord /Look, He is Coming with the Clouds

Expecta Dominum
Viriliter age
Et confortetur cor tuum
Et sustine
Ecce venit cum nubibus
et videbit eum omnis oculus
et qui eum pupugerunt
et plangent se super eum omnes tribus terrae
Etiam
Amen!

Wait for the Lord
Act manfully
and He will strengthen your heart
and will sustain you
Look, He is coming with the clouds,
and every eye shall see Him:
even those that that pierced Him
and they shall weep because of Him, all the tribes of the earth.
So it shall be
Amen

VI. Hosanna!/I am the Alpha and the Omega

Hosanna!
Ego sum Alpha et Omega principium et finis dicit Dominus Deus
qui est et qui erat et qui venturus est Omnipotens.

Hosanna!
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord God,
who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

VII. Maranatha! (Make Room)

Maranatha!
O Jesu, O veni!
Maranatha! (Make room)
O Jesu, festina!

Maranatha!
Oh Jesus, O come!
Maranatha! (Make room)
O Jesus, hurry!
