Christopher Hodges is a third-year PhD student at Boston University where he studies the Folk Music Revival in the 20th century United States and how politics, religion, and aesthetic shifts around the Early Music Revival influenced it. He completed his Master’s at BU where he studied organ and harpsichord with Peter Sykes. He began his studies at Stetson University (DeLand, FL) where he studied with Dr. Boyd Jones, with additional lessons from Webb Wiggins. He plays regularly with the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra including last Fall’s All-Bach concert featuring the Concerto for 2 Harpsichords in c minor, BWV 1060 and the cantata Ich habe genung, BWV 82.
