September 5, 2012 | Boston, MA
Emmanuel Music’s 2012-2013 season continues the grand tradition of surveying major bodies of composers’ chamber work. This season, Artistic Director Ryan Turner has programmed four concerts of music from Beethoven’s innovative “Middle Period,” including rarely performed Lieder, the "Ghost” Trio, and his only string quintet. Each program will feature Boston premieres and other works from Season Composer John Harbison’s vast and varied oeuvre, including his String Quartet No.5 and Gatsby Songs on the final concert of the season.
The concerts will take place in the Parish Hall of Emmanuel Church on Sundays; September 30, October 14, 2012; February 10 and 24, 2013.
